Hi guys looking for recommendations on best clutch to get for my td5 as it is nearing its end is it worth upgrading. From standard etc and where is the best place to get it from price, service etc

I got mine replaced with a Valeo pressure plate, friction plate, LR release bearing, LR spigot bearing and has been fine. Also replaced the Dual mass flywheel at the same time.

+1 for clutchfix speak to Ben Williams he will sort you out they have several options for td5 and puma dependant on what you use it for 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)

Oh I can see this getting costly I have already been upgrading power with larger inter cooler, egr blanking Griffen sports exhaust and plan to get it remapped at some point so I am am thinking getting something like the rakeway stage 2 kit would be good idea what do clutch fix do similar any ideas

You don't have to go the rakeaway route to run big power ! Mine runs a standard valeo with no problems. I changed it 18 months ago, but that was down to the squealing thrust washer

I've got a D2 running 230bhp 440Nm through a standard Valeo DMF and it just about handles it.
Another +1 for Ben Williams at Clutchfix, really knows his stuff, great guy to deal with! |

I used a Valeo clutch pack and DMF on the 110 and it seems fine, certainly no slipping. Td5 110 with stage 2 remap etc
