If I were you and it's for recovery rather than towing, I'd move the jaw up a bit.
Less likely to get caught on stuff and more in line with the chassis. |

Hi
The drop plate is too low and will act as a plough. A nato, hitch would have been a better solution. It would be up high out of the way. The sump guard will do the same, better to have fitted steering sleeves, then the sand can flow between the diff housings etc rather then being pushed by the steering guard.
