United Kingdom 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
New addition to the fleet.
Not another Defender, but a pint sized version.

The kids had been asking about replacing their quad bike for something with a steering wheel, like an off road buggy.
Looked at the prices and even the cheapest Chinese ones were well over £1k and closer to £2k for anything half decent.

Which got me thinking about a 4x4 MOT failure. Found a guy locally who breaks Discos and had runners for £650 upwards, but decided a Disco would be too big for the kids.

Then this came up on fleebay. 5 miles away and after a viewing the seller agreed to deliver as part of the deal Smile

Bit battered and bruised on the outside and the inside needed mucking out, but underneath it's absolutely sound. Runs and drives a treat apart from the ABS light on all the time. But who cares. Its only for off road use only.
MOT ran out in May this year and it has 104,000 miles showing on the odometer.

Just changed all the oils this morning and given my 13 year old his first proper mechanicing and driving lessons.

£500 well spent in my opinion.

Amazed at what it can tackle off road as well, considering it is on normal road tyres, two of which have very little tread left on them.

They are epic little things with just as many modifications available as for a.defender and a wealth of information on the various owners sites. Good purchase. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
