Seen this fridge drop down slide on other forums, but it seems exclusively sold only in Oz. Of course expensive and I wouldn't even dare ask for shipping costs...
Though it looks very good to mount the fridge on top of a storage drawer and have at an accessable height. Does somebody know of a UK or Euro dealer or importer? Thanks, Brendan.
Actually it is not for an Engel, I have a Waeco CFX35 (I used that picture only as an example). I'll take some measurements and then drop them a line, though I am not (or really my wallet is not) totally convinced this the right solution... Anyway, thanks for the pointer. Nothing wrong with a Waeco fridge Think it was 2014 when the Waeco range come top of an Australian 4x4 survey of fridges.
What would be important is the footprint of the fridge to decide what slider is best plus how the fridge is attached to slider. Be warned these sliders are heavy, think the straight forward sliders weigh best part of 20 kg whereas the drop down ones are about 30kg. They are NOT cheap items! Good luck with your search. Please let me know if you manage to locate one at a reasonable price. Brendan |
