i like this chaps videos. does some good ones.
couple of things occured to me....... 1.) cherokees are really capable, especially with mods. Ive driven with people using them and they can be easily as good as a defender if not better 2.) why on earth do people insist on touching & picking up recovery ropes/straps when they are in use! its so so dangerous. At 5:19ish the rope is attached to both vehicles. one driven by a stranger who you know nothing about. one drop of the clutch, or stamp on the brakes and that strap will yank tight with tonnes of force. reminds me of when james may did exactly the same thing! |

Good video, but as Mike's comment complete lunacy over the constant picking up / holding of a recovery strap that's in use. The first rule of recovery - keep completely clear of the recovery strap / rope / cable. He then straddles the strap when removing it from the front of the recovered vehicle. It's all good fun until someone gets a strap wrapped round their hand with a Land Rover hanging off the other end of it. Nothing at all against this type of activity - looks great fun, but stay safe and keep an eye out for others doing stupid things (noticed that neither of the drivers involved in the recovery told him to get out of the way). 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Pheasant steps, a friend rolled his 90 there, he's rolled it everywhere, to be fair!
