There's usually a purple wire tucked away behind the light covers on the driver's side, with a permanent 12V feed. Assuming you want a cigarette socket, you could plumb one into that!

On newer ones, its missing from behind the light. But can pick it up under wheel arch, behind flap covering electrics, its the connector for 12n trailer and contains the purple always live.

Johnny, as yours in with me at the moment for Rust prevention I can show you where the wires are and what to do when you pick her up. Unfortunately I have lost the link from where I used to get decent 12v sockets off the internet. Some sockets are rubbish... If anyone can recommend a supplier of quality 12v cig lighter sockets? It maybe in the thread Steve has linked to but I don,t have time to read through it all... |
