My bonnet lettering is the old LAND ROVER, but also got the DEFENDER lettering from a chinese site. I did not change mine though, kind of like the LAND ROVER, but changed them on nephews bonnet, and could not tell on size difference.
Could you have gotten the new Defender lettering by mistake? Currently travelling, otherwise I could compare the size. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

My Defender lettering is wonky.
It has been since I have owned the truck at one year old. There has been no front end damage and I am assuming this is how it left the factory. The back Defender decal to the right of the door was also rippled and look like it had been put on in a hurry. That one has been changed. I had wondered if the glue had softened in the summer and they had dropped, but as they have got no worse, my only explanation is JLR quality control at its best. I have thought about getting new letters but I kind of link the wonky letters now. Don't judge me. |
