It all went wrong for us locals when they finished the A11 dualling at Elveden and the drawbridge was some how missed out from construction. If they had done as we wanted, the drawbridge could have prevented these people getting anywhere near us. All that is left is to stand on the quay at Blakeney laughing
We have got Bat Bridges on this part of the A11. It seems, the bats don't use them. They are so successful, we are having to have them fitted on the Northern distributor road around Norwich. Most assume that the bats won't use them on this road either............. Normal for Norfolk |

There's one in a village round here that says something like "slow yew down buh" which gives me a good chuckle.
Just be thankful you're not trying to take a combine through Wells which we'll be doing in a week or so. That's an interesting job - tourists seem to like ignoring a Defender with lots of flashy lights and a wide load warning sign on parked in the middle of the road. |

I was out n about on the HD on Monday & ended up in The Deli cafe on Wells seafront, the quayside was literally heaving with people, so good luck with getting a combine thro that lot!
