Bealach in a 110 is fine, but there's no way I'd tow over that route. Local 7.5 ton trucks can go over it, and it's a bit hairy when you meet one not towing.

Took the outfit in the picture to Applecross, well worth it, but went the long way round. Even that was a bit squeaky in places!

Most of the roads are doable but only if you have no respect for other road users. If I met a Landy towing a caravan on some of those roads I wouldn't be disposed to give the standard wave. I suspect most other drivers would be giving an altogether different 'wave' Thud

It's one of the most beautiful parts of the world if the weather is favourable but caravans are just plain silly on a single track road in the holiday season.

thank you very much for that.

I find I have to add about 30 - 50% extra time onto what the sat navs / google maps normally suggest and I'm guessing this could be worse on slow road / windy roads?

thank you all the same - I have to say it's probably further than the rest of the family will put up with in terms of a day trip Sad
