Hi everyone
Following some recent mods on my Defender, I have a few bits that are now surplus to requirements. All are in good condition and are OEM ((apart from the switches) All prices include Post and Packing. Please PM me if you need any further details. How did you remove the fuel filler cap strap from the vehicle, and how would one re-fit it? Pickles. |

The fuel cap came of quite easily. With a bit of gentle tugging on the attachment strap it popped of the small plastic retaining pin by the fuel filler.
With regards to refitting, as long as the pin is still in place, I would gently heat the loop at the end of the strap (dip it in some boiling water for a few seconds) and then pop it back over the pin. I haven't tried this but that's what I would try first. |
