Couplands, EXCELLENT video,...some VERY challenging stuff there,...but looks like a lovely camp site,...and well deserved after that sort of "driving", I reckon!
Thanks, Pickles. |

Thank you chaps.
If I have enough good footage I'll do Day 2 & 3. There are some step rocks steps, Sheepwash I think it's called, that make day 1 look like a trip up the M1...😳 Cheers Simon |

Looking at some of those unforgiving rocks - I wonder what percentage of forum members would take their highly polished lifestyle accessories up and down that track. Look forward to Day 2 if it's really extreme ........ |

Great video of one of my favourite lanes in the country (that I've driven on at least!)

I haven't had chance to get the rest of the video together, but here are some photos of the next tough lane...

It looks hardly walkable that track, amazing what these machines are capable of. Must have been a lot of fun. And looks you had a beautiful weather too MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

Indeed, those steps were about as tough as I'd want to tackle. But I never cease to be amazed what they'll do, if you take it slow and easy.
The truck with the strops on it had got the front wheel a bit off course and was in danger of tipping over. We had a truck behind with the winch rope connected just in case... The weather for the trip was the typical 4 seasons in one day, but just there it was blue skies all round. Cheers Simon |

Not sure what the lane is called, but in the map below the steps are on the lane just at the top right of the parking symbol. We are just near Osmotherly in North Yorks.

Couplands,..I can't find a "description" of those images,.."awesome", "frightening", "vehicle destroying!",...I don't know, but I can see that a video would be very very good,...so, when are we going to see it?
Thanks for the pics, Pickles. |

Just found it on trailwise, the last comment describes it as "undrivable", obviously you beg to differ.
Will add it to my memory map for future Tom @tditomprice 100” Defender Hybrid 2010 Alaska White 90 HT |
