Hi Pickles, I have dug out my JE 'Super' Defender info when I had the conversion done in 2013, the standard JE engine had 460bhp with torque 406lb-ft @ 2500-4500, mine has the 490bhp version (smaller supercharge pulley) so I guess the torque may be slightly more.

As they say, "A nice set of numbers"!!!...I imagine that it would be a lovely "responsive" Defender now, particularly on main road cruising, & overtaking. What sort of gearbox, & what diff ratio are you running?

Very quite on cruising, other than the wind noise of course, the only thing I know about the gearbox is that its a D2 and it been uprated by Ashcroft

The best bit through is the kick down when overtaking, the instant acceleration and supercharge whine is amazing, but at the same time you can drive slowly around town with just a burble from the exhaust
