Bell Auto either do a remote remap or you can post them your ECU, I'm not sure if they have a dealer network.
I know my 2.2 has to go to BAS for unlocking, but not sure about the 2.4. Best to give Pete a call to discuss. Just got the BAS 150AB 'RRC' for my 2.4
You're sent a doohickey that connects to the OBD port and to your phone via bluetooth. Load some info to it from your vehicle, take it out then connect it to your PC/mac via USB and upload the info to Peter, shortly after you'll get some instructions of how to do a couple of diagnostics tests then load the remap to the unit then actual vehicle. Done. The doohickey can then be used to do fault checking/clearing and get live values and logs etc. a bit like a nanocom if I'm not mistaken, maybe not all the features though, I don't own that unit to compare. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

So I need a qualified tech-savvy person at do this. I am not one 😞. Same applies to any software updates and mods.
Would a LR dealer be able to apply the OE mapping from Adventure 90 to my 2.4? 😂9 Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender |

Do LR dealers do BAS remaps? Taunton said no, maybe Yeovil or Exeter might be a good professional places

Obviously BAS will answer questions about them specifically. But you might be interested in this other thread, which touches on similar questions. It seems the official JLR policy is no mods etc sanctioned by them - but some dealers do seem to muddy the waters a bit. |
