Yes, do that. I think it might have to go back to Pete Bell now I've read another thread.

Hope Steeplejack doesn't mind me posting this.
To save Pete getting lots of PM's. I also enquired about this for my 110. It seems that the only value in this is for the hardware. You will need a new map for your car. I was hoping it would be a simple software change to my codes and away you go. But it appears not. Hope this helps others with their decision. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

Thanks for the clarification Walfy. My assumption was that it was only good for hardware and whoever bought it would need to sort out there own remap.

Hi all
I've had this off Pete. The ecu needs programming to the car so can not be done without the car or diagnostic tools. The ecu needs a new map writing for it to suite the new car its used on, injector codes programming, security programming and all the resets for turbo, air flow meter etc etc. It can be done with BAS2RRC remotely or with the car in my workshops but not without any of those. I don't have any of the diagnostic tools so its not for me i'm afraid. GLWTS |
