Groombridge Land Rover Event/Spa Valley Railway Steam Fair
Hi Guys,

Just got home after a wonderful day out with Miss Shaggydog in Groombridge and Eridge and Tunbridge Wells!

The Groombridge Land Rover event was great with some really nice trucks emerging from hidden away places.

Then we hopped on the train and trundled down to Eridge to see the Traction engines and Steam Rollers and other Cars

Great pics Shaggy,...looks like a "traditional" Landrover setting.
Always loved Traction Engines & "Steam" Rollers,....I can remember them being used on roadworks when we lived in Vowchurch, a LLOONNGG time ago.

Indeed it is Phil Thumbs Up

It was a fantastic day out!

I have a very special connection with this railway as I joined as a volunteer when I was only 12 and worked my way up learning all my engineering and technical skills the hard and heavy way. I know more about steam engine maintenance then I do Land Rovers but to be honest 75% is transferable skills!
