How Is This Attached?

Noticed this pic in another thread. I'm referring to the red box (FAK?) mounted on the side. I'm wondering how that is attached to the inside of the side panel?

I would imagine the Velcro straps are screwed onto the panels , that's what I'm intending to do with my TGE panels , or might pop riviera the straps
