Stayed at WingHall campsite a few years ago. Good views and pub was good in village.
Might be worth a look. Toilets weren't the best but they may of improved |

A nice pub is the Castle inn, at the bottom of Rockingham Hill, Edd or Vince Cobley will recommend..
Also while you're there, pop into Rockingham Land Rovers if you need any spares, advice or just a brew. Its an awesome Family run Independent, Steve Marlow the head mechanic there knows everything there is to know. I'm sure Edd or Vince Cobley will recommend (As Edd occasionally does some work for them and Vice Versa.. I would stay out of Corby if you can, Its a S*#t hole.. I was born in Kettering and grew up in Corby so I know it all too well, I moved away when I was stabbed.. I'll have a think about a campsite, but worth looking around Oakham or Rutland Water in Rutland, It's only a 20 minute drive away and has some nice pubs and campsites.. Hope you have an awesome day (I don't have anything to do with ProTrax or Rockingham LR apart from being a good friend of Edd's and Steve and a long term customer of Rockingham LR.. I still use them now for parts even though I live in the Derbyshire Dales..) My 1986 90 is currently on a full rebuild, with new chassis, Paint etc.. Very much a hybrid, TD5 Chassis, tub & bulkhead with a 200TDI and LT77 GB Painted in Stornoway Grey 2 years off the road, but getting close to completion now |

Booked Wing Hall, the more basic approach appeals to me.
