Tough paint for Alu
Hiya, can anyone recommend a good paint for ALU chequer plate ?

looking to black mine as an interim measure preferably satin if not then matt. Spray or brush/roller either way doesn't matter.

Thanks 3 Landrovers

Etch prime then a coat of halfords truck bedliner spray paint. Textured finish, hard wearing and easy to spray. Just make sure the can is warm and well shaken or else the nozzles block for fun

Etch will be fine with masking tape. Thumbs Up
I'd have a look the Upol Raptor stuff.

I've used Upol recently and been highly impressed.

Following a conversation with Halfords today it seems that they have stopped doing their load bed liner paint now. A shame as it seemed to be good stuff. And also that i ran out half way through the dam job (can the nozzle jammed) and can't get any more! Ah well.
