Definitely spoiled the show for someone. Make sure everything is locked up tight. Barbara |

That's a damn shame that some scumbag has decided to pinch a members Defender, totally puts a damper on the event.
I will be there tomorrow again too, convinced the boss it was a good idea G My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years. |

just got back from show and not a bad day. as said not a big show but there seamed to be plenty punters about and plenty of stuff being bought. for a small show there was a good range of bits and pieces. well worth the visit. and bumped into a load of friends. please support the scottish land rover show. 110 xs s/wagon

Quite enjoyed it. Stayed 2 1/2 hours.
Met Enid Puceflange. Bought some bits and bobs. Will go again next year if it's on Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Next year has been confirmed on the grapevine as definitely being on and has also already pre booked the next show field over as well, so expecting to be much bigger next year hopefully. I was on the UTV Products stand and we did almost as well as Ripley which can't be bad for a first time show in a newer market. Great to meet various people at the show and thanks to anyone that purchased from us. Looking forward to seeing you there or at billing soon! North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

Good to meet up with some of the guys we know from the SLROC, spent a good few hours wandering around and watching the various displays in the arena. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to say hello to Enid on the Pentland stand as it was pretty busy when we were poking around.
All in all a good day out and well done to everyone from the SLROC for winning best club stand and for all their efforts in helping get this show off the ground Click image to enlarge 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

Agreed, had a really great day. Wallet took a hit though stocking up on some bits. Looking forward to next year, now that I have an idea of what's available I'll have a shopping list next time.....oh and might leave the wife at home too lol
Well done to SLROC for best stand and also for giving the audience a good insight into off roading & trials. 2007 Defender Puma Tonga Green 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Corrie Grey 1968 Series 2a Bronze Green 1995 Defender 90 Coniston Green 2005 Discovery 3 Zambezi Silver |

I visited on Sunday. What a nice show - very friendly.
Nice to see some of the big names there. BAS seemed busy swapping ECU's - Might have to save my penny's for next year! I was down that way anyway so was happy to support the show but not 100% certain it would have been worth the drive all that way for the day. I do hope it runs again next year as a Scottish Show has been long needed. |
