Webasto thermo top v

Hi all,
I managed to blag a thermo v heater from a Range Rover sport yesterday, included is the unit, exhaust, air filter, part of the fuel line and the loom.

I'm quite happy to run it of a switch as a opposed to a timer for the time being. Has anyone retro fitted one to a td5 using the Range Rover loom and if so could you share your experiences with me. I'm led to believe that I may have to buy an auxiliary fuel pump. All info appreciated.

You need the fuel pump for it, and you cannot trigger the TT-V from a simple switch.

It can only be fired over the WBUS connection, which is a communications bus between the heater and controllers. The cheapest way to do this is with the Webasto 1533 timer.

Thanks for the reply, why can't things be simple if I buy the webasto 1533 timer do I have to buy it with a specific loom. I see there advertised for a good few German cars.

If you can do wiring I sell all the bits to make a loom, but not looms themselves.
