'My greatest fear when I die is that my wife will sell my Defender for the price I told her it cost..' ![]() I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Over the same period, it is 113,291 miles in total and an average of £13.75 per day in fuel ! The total volume of fuel used was 20,027.87 litres, or (if you're reading this after 23rd June) 4,366.08 gallons. The average cost per litre was £1.31.5 or £6.03 per gallon. Average consumption was 25.99 mpg. Depressingly of the £25,850.47 spent on fuel, in reality something like £15,000 will have been fuel-related tax. If you add in the VED, IPT, and VAT on parts, consumables, labour, and VAT on IPT of course, the total tax revenue which HMG has derived from from me would be truly depressing. All the money that I earned to pay these taxes was taxed once at source already. I feel a tax burden bearing down on me. ![]() |

@ Love The Mud, ya better add a long range tank to that list of parts for HIPPO, if your only getting 180 miles to 50L

funny you should say that!
![]() MDM's TD5 got through a quarter of a tank in the two days off road (if i remember correctly) and mine burnt through 19 litres each day despite following him... so i think I will have to take it to Alive to A) have a look B) get the remap |

I've done 53k in two years wouldn't want to add that up. Even worse is the chap who has the ladybird cranes 90 he does twice the mileage I do.

What I think you're all saying, is that overall a remap will SAVE me money?!
