Paint bubbling - warranty fix here we come.....
Hi all

Great news that JLR have agreed to sort some paint bubbling on my MY2010 defender 90! Goes in on Monday for 16 days and hopefully when it comes back patches of bubbling paint will be fixed.

Will upload some 'before' photos tomorrow - then 2 weeks later I will update with some 'after' photos.

Took a while to get authorised but to their credit the dealer rang me, sorted a loan car, and reminded me today!

Top service, thank you JLR

Fingers crossed they do a good job.

Well done. I'm just about to go back to the stealer re bubbling around the sky lights....it's been apparent for a while now and one "service consultant" told me that they were considering it but then she left and I've heard no more. Few months of the 6 year corrosion warranty to go yet so I'll see what response I get this time.

Be persistent. They should take photos and email them to JLR who will then authorise them to get a quote from their body shop. When quote is in thenJLR have to approve the work. Mine took quite a few weeks and weekly phone calls to chase up.

Thnx. Rodney. We have 2 stealers here in Perth and I may try the other one. Same owners but different attitudes.... Confused
