New Drawer for my Defender - Any comments?
I looked at all the options and having bought a TransK9 dog crate their bespoke drawer was the best option. Others didn't offer the double tray and dedicated drawers insert for shotgun etc.

Would be interested in your opinions.......... Very Happy

I had the MSS longline drawer and fitted the transk9 double gun insert into it.

They are so handy, when we go camping, the gun kit comes out and the cooking kit goes in.
I've not seen the transk9 drawers in the flesh to be honest, though they must be ok.

I really liked the two tier drawer and dividers which gives a great deal of flexibility Thumbs Up 2015 Defender 110 XS Utility Santorini Black, sawtooth alloys, steps and so much more...........

Yeah that is clever. Looks great...no chequer plate on the drawer front as well, which i prefer. I've asked a cabinet maker to make me a cover for it.....I'm still trying get over the price.

I made mine up in ply and you can get very strong runners to allow full length access off the shelf. In that way you can divide it up how you like.

It is an easy build and would be ded cheap to get a local woodworker to do if you cant. There are some pictures in my previous posts somewhere

That looks real tidy.

I like the flap hooked up on cage - presumably to protect when dogs jump in an out.?

Mine are scratching up my cross member. Hav thought about a NAS step or step on towbar to help them.

Trans K9 is great kit, I have a box in the Defender and another in the Audi. Build quality is spot on and there are no squeaks or rattles. Thumbs Up

I have a TransK9 double box which was originally fitted in my Freelander 2 and now does double duty in the 110. I had to adapt the 110 with a platform because the crate is an inch too wide to fit between the wheel boxes, built from 18mm buffalo board and bolted into the tie down points in the load bed. I added Unwin luggage rail to the platform to secure the box down. It's not a permanent solution but it's OK for now.

TransK9 are excellent - nicely built with a good quality of finish. Exceptionally strong but also quite heavy when manuevering it between vehicles - luckily don't do that too often. I tried out the drawers at the Game Fair and they seemed equally as well made.

I'm now contemplating what to do with the space under the platform - drawers or removable boxes, or even spare wheel to save the door from cracking under the load of a Wolf wheel.

I have an MSS drawer
In fact I have had it a long time - so it has paid for itself - a good investment.
Just want to know best TransK9 fo back of 110 to go on top of MSS Drawer. I like my dog(s) to have room to tun and lie down easily as well as sit/stand without looking like they are under a coffee table - I have Labradors
