My 110 has started to swerve badly when under acceleration, like ridiculous torque steer. So much so that I am having to make steering corrections when changing gear. When accelerating it is pulling to the left, and swerves back to the right when lifting off the throttle. Radius Arm bushes were changed a few months ago and it has been fine until today. Anybody any idea what could cause this?
It's a 2004 110 Td5. |

A sudden change like you describe? Slow puncture? Check the tyre pressures. Shock absorbers can let go quite suddenly, too. 1998 Tdi 90 SW,

I know you've said radius arms have been changed but it does sound very much like the radius arm to chassis bushes. Small movements in the bushes transmit to big movements at the wheels.

Bushes. Usually the trailing arm bushes. You'll need to get underneath and check them.
