TDS are very good winches indeed, bowmotors are the best on the market.
Powerplants seem to be popular with the expedition guys, built in compressor is certainly handy but there's other ways to do on board air (tank only needed if you're running air tools or dont want the compressor runnning all the time you're using). Seems expensive for what it is (to me) and very heavy! That said, its a 12000Ib winch compared to most of the lowlines that are 9500Ibs. Horses for courses when it comes to winches, I prefer hydraulic anyway... Ross |

I have a TDS and glad I did, as I have used it twice in 6 months, the extra expense for my usage is not worth i me buying a warn, if both do the same job for my needs

I've got the
Superwinch EPi9.5....Not got it fitted yet so can't comment but looks well built and read some good reports on them NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY |

You will really struggle to find the seperate part number - its not easy (as is trying to find the numberplate holder which i still havent!!)
But for you DPB501050 - if you ever find the numberplate holder that would repay the favour (By the way the list is £401 trade is about £60 less) Mike |

Do you want the number plate holder that fitts with the Land Rover supplied bumper and winch??

Andy thats exactly the one...goes between the bumper and fairlead then the number place "clips to it" If you have it - yes yes please... ive looked for literally 2 years for one Mike |
