Added creature comforts / ideas to RT???
Hey peeps, Looking forward to getting our Tuff Trek RT02 in the next two weeks ( HM C&E being nice!!) and was wondering what advice you lot would have reference adding things to make life nicer, Ive ordered some LED strip lights, But have also heard about adding a form of airgap between the matteress and base to prevent condensation and help keep us warm. Also is sleeping bags the best or normal house duvets?? The RT will be used in the UK. Mainly in summer months for long weekends maybe week at a time.

Any Advice greatley appreciated. Very Happy Very Happy Cool Cool

It's not a roof tent, but when sleeping in my Defender I have my mattress in a duvet cover (because a standard sheet is too big and impractical), use a standard pillow and sleep under an open sleeping bag. The bottom bit is still zipped up so I keep my feet warm, but the top is open so it's not so cramped and I get some air movement (and can snuggle it).

We have a special ventilating underlay matress under the standard rtt mattress, to help prevent condensation. As a bonus, the (thin) standard mattress feels a bit softer.
