Whats the best rear bike carrier for 110 CSW
I've seen various mentioned but what would people suggest.

I have a Mantec rear wheel carrier and a NATO hitch on the rear cross-member. Would need to carry 2 adult and 2 children bikes. I am planning on attaching a rear NAS step soon so this may modify my tow setup.

Have considered MAXXRAXX but would need to tilt back to open the rear door. Looks a bit flimsy. Anything that attaches to spare should be ok as wheel carrier takes most of the weight and door could still open if needed.

Ideas please, many thanks

This works well with a Mantec as you can open the door

thanks good call. Is it removable? Does it feel solid when loaded with the bikes? Also would it block the rear lights from what you remember? Thanks, now to check out the price!

P.S like your vid. Wales and North Yorkshire, my two favourite places!

Yes it's very solid, although I would have preferred a closer fit between the bracket and the rack, there is a touch of play but it doesn't really matter.

Yes it's removable, very quick to slide on / off just a padlock to undo and it comes off. The mount goes behind the spare wheel and onto the Swing away. The bracket pokes through the centre of the spare wheel.

It does block the lights and plate, you need a board, I mount mine on the roof rack

From memory they are £60, they are for a Disco 1 you have to turn the mount upside down for a defender which means you then need to drill an 8mm hole in the mount to make it work but very easy to do.

Does it have to be the Disco 1 or 2 version? What do you secure the bikes with once they are on? Assume some kind of strap set up.

Disco1 version as it has the same PCD as a Defender Disco2 won't fit

You need some straps they don't come with it (not bungees)
