2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Bonatti Grey

ALRC nationals East Sussex photos.

I just thought I would pop a few pictures of the Nationals that took place at the weekend.
I jumped in my 86" and met up with good friends Darren and matt in his 49 80" who had come down from Birmingham to
oxford services on the m40 and we took a rather steady drive down to the Sussex Coast.

Series 1s are a bit scary around the M25 but we had a good run down to the event, we were blessed with warm weather which made the event even better!

We then went to Eastbourne in the evening for fish and chips!

Then on to the trials...
Hats off to the guy in the blue 90, fresh out the box, with 7,000 miles on the clock!
He was doing well, nice to see a Defender being used for what they do best.
He managed to pick up a few dings and dents, bent bumper.

Nice to see plenty of early series motors still earning their keep!

Much to my surprise I managed to bag the concourse trophy for my 86"
Which made the weekend even more worthwhile

My friend Darren walked away with the David Bowyer cup for his 80"

Great pictures.

Good to see you had a nice weekend. I was hoping to get round to the concours etc..etc.. but time wasn't on my side due to marshalling all the events.

It was a great weekend, and saw some great driving!

It may be on the cards to drag the series 3 out and start doing it myself....
