if the fabric is in good nick then stripping it off and reattaching it with decent spray glue should be the easiest and cheapest method. Some have a foam backing with disintegrates so you may have to scrape this off before doing anything else. perfect time to attaching some vibration and sound deadening to the roof as well.

Cheers Lancerdoc,
I know that there is next to nothing holding the fabric on to most of whatever the backing is, however I suspect that the edges may be a different matter. Although to my knowledge it has been there for 21 years so may just be the fir tree things holding it up and together. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. Did mine some time ago. The fabric was stripped from the backing and new fabric glued on, I had this part done professionally. I did insulation of the roof etc. myself.

Hi Have just completed this horrible job on my old 90,
its not a job I am proud of so i wont be posting pictures any time soon! I bought a kit from this firm http://www.martrim.co.uk/catalogue/landrover-headlining-kit.html which consists of a large roll of the headlining (plenty to do the front, Rear & trim above the rear door) & three tins of spray glue, I collected from them as I was passing one day, I asked the guy for tips & he said "work from the middle, do one side at a time & you'll be fine, Oh & you only get one chance with this glue" now I've never had much time for spray glue but this stuff takes no prisoners! to say it sticks like sh*t to a fluffy blanket is an understatement! it was a job I was happy to pay someone to do but just couldn't find a trimmer that A, bothered to pick up the phone, & B, interested enough to do the job, |

Thanks, Iggle Piggle.
Which version of the headlining did you go for? Did it fit well to the contours of the headlining board? Was there enough in the kit for a 110? Cheers Phil 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. Wide Track Sankey- In bits- Gone to a new home M0XQS |

I went for light grey which I'm really happy with,
its a "felt like" material so does stretch & follow the contours of the roof very well, if I had to do it again, two helpers & some sort of roller would be my advise plenty of material & glue left over so I would think a 110 would be no problem, but they seem clued up so should tell you |
