Hi bear
Have a chat with Tim at the mobile centre, he sells complete kits with batteries, cables, connectors etc I fitted one in 2 evenings for a fellow defender2.net member, he's now in on vacation testing and enjoying it You need a few tools and electrical awareness but it's really not rocket science Pm me if you want any more info |

Yellow Tops get a good name but can be expensive. I bought one of these below for my Discovery 3's set up and these also get a good write up on the Disco3 forum. I'll be using mine for my fridge, lights and charging iPads etc
I used the Tmax split charge system but now have an uprated relay https://www.tayna.co.uk/EXV70-Enduroline-L...P8727.html This is the relay I replaced it with but you can buy full kits http://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/12v-300a-hig...relay.html 2007 Defender Puma Tonga Green 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Corrie Grey 1968 Series 2a Bronze Green 1995 Defender 90 Coniston Green 2005 Discovery 3 Zambezi Silver |

I spoke to Tim at Mobile Centre when I was looking at options. Got some really good advice and based on what I needed Tim put together a kit for me with the 7610 relay:
https://www.mobilecentre.co.uk/index.php?m...4e4ee6ef4a Once I'd worked out where to borrow some big crimping pliers from it took about a day to fit with no issues as the kit was very comprehensive. Would probably be quicker at fitting this a second time around as a lot of time went into working out where to fit everything so that it was accessible going forwards. Keith Keith |
