I'd have a chat with Gary @ Alive tuning, they'd have some new take off where customers upgrade.
New take off is identical pretty much to brand new but priced accordingly for obvious reasons. That'd be the route I'd look into personally, he may even give you a price for your original turbo for parts / spares. Who knows? |

Turbo Technics in Northampton are very good and I believe 'approved' supplier to JLR.

Thanks for that, I will give both a shout.
There seems to be plenty of suppliers on ebay but they look pretty much the same as each other. Dave |

eBay isn't always bad, providing you know what your looking for and are trustworthy.
LR's prices are drastically over inflated. |

Thats the problem isn't it finding someone trustworthy! lol.
I have a scrap turbo here with a broken flange and am tempted to exchange the cartridge out of that one, and see how I get on. |

When looking for a replacement turbo for my other car, several people in the motor trade I know and trust warned me off recons, too many bad experiences of them having shockingly short lifetimes.

I've never heard of AET but two recommendations in a row can't be bad. They do a two year warranty which can't be bad!
Have dropped them an email and see what they come back with Dave |
