2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Havana

Gear lever / box whine under load - 3rd & 5th

I might be imagining it but I think it is either a whine or the gear level vibrating.

Has anyone experienced this issue.

It is on a 2 yr old 2.2 110. I'm taking it in for my free 2yr service next week and just want to make sure I list all possible issues that could be warranty related. Only 2 so far - rust on front mudflap bracket and on bumper

I have something similar in 6th gear under load.

I think it is the discussed 'Puma gear stick rattle' thread on here... the weights at the bottom of the gear stick vibrate and make a noise a bit like a whine...

2nd year service was part of my purchase bargaining stance and they agreed.
