I think they are a touch larger but barely anything to ever notice.
I'd recommend SPGlobal on eBay. |

"I'm not cheeky enough to put the 'Defender' lettering on a TD5!"
Why not, it is one after all? Personally I have Land Rover across the bonnet with the Defender badge just below it on the grill panel. ONE LIFE, GET IT! |

Agreed!! My TD5 has had the black & silver 'defender' decal above the grill from new.... I thought all TD5 defenders did?! Adding the letters is surely much less cheeky than putting a puma bonnet on?! |

On my 2.4 DC I added the silver & black DEFENDER badge below the bonnet - just for personalisation really I guess.
The funny bit came a month or two later when I came out of a joiners shop to hear two officionados debating why I had put a TDCi bonnet on a TD5. They then asked how much of a job it was fitting the TDCi dash and interior They hadn't considered it might be the badge that was the modification |

I'm just one of those odd people who really likes the puma bonnet. But I also like TD5s.... I also quite like the puma dash. Maybe I should buy a Puma....? 2002MY Defender 90 H/T |

I'm not criticising mate, I was just intrigued as to why you thought that putting the DEFENDER letters on a defender would be cheeky that's all. I too love my TD5, so much so that I chose to buy one over a brand new puma last September. I certainly see no problem whatsoever with fitting a puma bonnet or the letters if you prefer it. That's the beauty of our vehicles, the endless opportunity for creativity and personalisation.

No criticism taken!
Any other views - I saw SP's - they are a bit bigger and I'm not sure why they couldn't just make them the 'right' size.... Or I may have to splash out £70 on some genuine letters.... cos I'm fussy... 2002MY Defender 90 H/T |
