Pressures and Wheel Wobble
Hi everyone

I've had my new wheels and tyres on for a week now and I've noticed that there's a wheel wobble around 50mph. They were all balanced when I had them fitted so Im a bit lost as to what to do next. Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar issues? I remember Mal mentioned using balancing beads, would these help and has anyone else had any experience with them? They're 285/75/16 on Mach 5's if thats any help.

Also just wondering what pressures people are running with the same size tyre on a 90? It very rarely does any towing or heavy carrying.

Cheers

Will

Which tyres? Some are easier to balance than others...

They're not known for being too horrendous. Are the weights resonable? ie not A massive pile of them in one spot?

Also worth a try is swapping fronts to rears.

I have a 110, but mostly run empty. I have 30PSI in the fronts and 38PSI in the rears at the minute. Seems a good compromise as I do a lot of motorway.

Old style BFG AT's

Ideal cheers for that. To be honest I haven't looked closely at the weights on every wheel yet but the ones on the spare looked reasonable, I'll have a proper look tomorrow and adjust the pressures.
