United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey
Cruise Control options
I do lots of mileage in my 64 plate 110 and want to fit cruise control and I've found a few around the £350 bracket. Anyone got any experience of the model sold by Keith Gott? http://www.keithgott.co.uk/parts_alpine.html

I have a Nakaetanga one from Brendan. Had one or 2 install issues, but fine since. Happy with it Smile Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Whats the fitting like on that Mobilecentre unit?

Think its something I would have to get fitted professionally, what sort of price would it be do you think?

Thanks

I fitted a mobile centre one, took about 4 hours, mainly thinking time. Only tricky part was getting to ignition live

Had it about 2 years now ... Works brilliantly

I think the Naka one and the MobileCentre one are broadly similar - both based on the eCruise box?

borrowing dgardel's pic.

Connections to clutch, brake, throttle all fairly easy.

The one I didn't like doing was picking up the feed from the speedometer. You have to splice into the wire behind the speedo.

Everything else is pretty straight forwards.

I installed the cruise kit myself, 3 hours all in, nothing to difficult, good write up by Jimz on the forum explains it all.
