Those switch mounts are for Carling switches which are a different size to most/all OE switches

It depends what exactly it is you are trying to achieve? You could try the scrap dealers as the Defender OEM switches can be found in other marques and you could possibly source a housing there perhaps? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Basically, I am doing a double din install and I don't want to cut a hole in my dash, I'd rather relocate the switches elsewhere.
I did think about looking at various rovers/mg but ipthere aren't many places you can wonder around anymore. I might get a friend to draw me some and have them rapid prototyped at work that way I get exactly what I was looking for |

If you are only talking one switch, the Defender spotlight kit has a switch & included is a OE item for inserting it in the dash.

It's going to be a few iirc and the hazard warning switch. Never mind I had hoped there'd be an off the shelf solution, but its not the end of the world as I can get them made easily enough it'll just cost me some beer tokens

If mcma1 is not doing them yet you can buy doubles from Firstfour: https://www.firstfour.co.uk/item/2177292/d...tch-bezel-
However the hazard switch is too big to fit these, you might have to change to a Disco2 hazard switch (which is the same size as the normal Defender switches). Pretty sure someone on here detailed doing these recently? 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

I think that'd do it Martin thank you very much!
I've suddenly got 3 extra switches and less holes to put them in! And as I say, I just can't bring myself to cut holes in my dash! I will look into the hazard switch, thanks chaps |

That pre-2002 hazard switch is not a standard Puma size. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Yes I know that , but I was wondering if N16kct realises that many of the OEM Puma and TD5 switches are not capable of carrying a switching load direct to the appliance and are just intended to switch a relay. So depending on the switch any extra switches he fitted he would have to bear that in mind. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
