You have to remove the cover panel from the side of the motor to release the pipe from the top of the housing:

No, remove the motor and unscrew the three or four screws on the back plate. The coiled rod has a anchor that needs to be fed in and secured. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)
