The sun made an appearance so gave her a good wash and scrub up.

Yip..not bad for 25yrs!
Never driven one with wheel mounted on bonnet, does it affect visibility? |

The only time I have an issue with it is if I am moving around something like a bollard or flower pot or something like that. If it happens I just get out and look or get the girlfriend or passenger out as a spotter. Otherwise makes no real effect.
