have you tried a breaker bar against the chassis and using the starter with the fuel stop solenoid wire off? Cheers

Just as JST says - that's how mine was done many moons ago. Yes, pull the fuel solenoid wire off 👍

Mine came off OK with just a rattle gun 1996 300Tdi Defender 110

on a 2.5NA i dare say its been on there a while and hes possibly tried my suggestion and the rattle gun already, we shall see! Cheers

Mine was a 12j, out of a B reg 90 - not that many years ago. To be h honest I was surprised it came off so easily 1996 300Tdi Defender 110
