Screw size for cowl - PUMA

Hi,

Ok so this is a complete novice question...

I want to buy some stainless steel anti-theft bolts for the snow cowl and equivalent cover on my puma defender, but have no idea: A) where or what to buy, or B) How to measure a bolt

so that i buy the correct ones...

Feeling very daft right now....
