Who Road Tests Exotica in the Scottish Borders?
We get a fair amount of exotic cars (Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo's, etc, etc) being road tested in groups of 2 or 3 coming past our road end and they seem to have a route taking in Hawick, Bonchester & Newcastleton.

Anybody got any idea who it is??

They always tend to go fairly steadily but in low gears so lots of noise and ceremony. Last night we caught up to a Porsche (65 plate - White) being followed by an Aston (private plate - White) and I could hear both of them above the Defender. We all got held up by an artic and obviously frustration took over as they both overtook through a completely blind set of corners Shocked Shocked I, living here, know the road very well and I was waiting for the carnage. Daft thing is 200m further on is a straight where we could all have got passed - I did and soon caught them again Thumbs Up

What were you doing at Larriston? That's just across from me. Were you before or during Andrew Douglas's ownership?

Loggin' trucks are reakin' havoc at the moment - Police don't have resources to get involved / Timber Haulage Assosciation think any issues highlighted are victimisation and won't hear a bad word about them. A more arrogant bunch you will struggle to find Big Cry

Could be but I really doubt it - they may go back and forth several times and they're always single occupancy.

They were road testing a Honda Type R type thingy and put it off the road down a banking into the forest. The recovery truck was scratching his head for quite some time Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
