If have the Webasto Airtop 2000st fitted, with 1531 timer control. As far as I know the fan speed is not adjustable, the fan of my heater doesn't blow very fast either but I think it is quite adequate.
I do not have a remote control, but as far as I know they all work with the 2000st as they operate the on/off function, though the could be combined with the timer unit. Lots of Webasto info here thanks to fellow forum member Dgardel. I like the look of the smartstart, but I fear the price will be huge and I can't find any reference that it works with Webasto heaters. Only their own brand. 110 D250 SE HT

My tracker has an output for an additional relay, I plan to connect it to the Webasto so I can switch the heater with the iPhone tracker app. But you know how it is - so many little projects on the list... Cheers, Vincent

Cheers James. Just sent Derrick at LRS a mail to confirm my thoughts.
I was usre my fan ran faster the last time it fired up, but that was over 12 months ago so I may be mistaken. Perhaps I need to see yours running and compare. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

I posted for help on the D3 forum as well, as I used to own one and I know there are some very techy people over there. I've posted this response to give feedback to my interaction with WEBASTO.
Many thanks to all the advice and PM's I've received. So thought it only fair to share the info I have received from WEBASTO direct. It seems there is a stand alone T91 remote kit for heaters not integrated into the bus system on vehicles. It has a part number of 1314635A. Currently out of stock in the UK, on back order from Germany but stock should be in the UK in the next 7-10 days. Now the killer bit. The nice man at WEBASTO directed me to Butlerbus ( 01427 787121) hope thats allowed Martin?? They can do me a deal , ie retail price I suspect as I hope this isn't a discount price. The kit comes in at a staggering £249. Now I like to have proper integrated parts in a set up, but I'm not paying that much to have a proper branded remote. Off to Maplins/RS to see what they have. Unless someone has this kit tucked away in the corner of their man cave?? 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
