Challenge truck Modifications
I have a 200tdi Land Rover 90 challenge truck and going through it at the moment changing and checking things.

Drove it 250 Miles the other day and a couple of minor issues where noted.

There is some play in the sliding section of the propshafts, wear. The front is more worn than rear.

The rear end needs bushes as when I lift off it tries to steer the itself! Driving at normal road speed or accelerating is perfect.

So was going to replace trailing arm bushes for a start as they look really bad!! Massive gap in the bushing material.

The props also need replacing I feel, as when you lift of there is notable vibrations. I have OME springs and dampers and lift blocks. I was thinking replace props with wide and props and spacers? or Just wide angle props. I do not get binding under articulation.

I saw QT Services & Wildbear do wide angle props and wondered if anyone has used these or recommend an alternative. Hoping to avoid a double carden.

Also I saw +150mm length flexible brake pipes has anyone purchased these from foundry4x4 I emailed but got no reply. My pipes are at maximum length when testing articulation.

Just looking for a bit of recommendation. I guess no other items will swap ie discovery etc.

Just a few minor things to do I hope, dont want to get carried away with modifications as I'm not going to use it seriously hard just needs to be purposeful. Hope to get it ready for green laning soon!

Gwyn Lewis 4x4 is the only place I would go to for the parts you require. Top bloke and his kit works really well!!

I have his full challenge kit on my on my Puma, handles great on road and is mental off it.

Gwyn Lewis does some nice props. Also check out llama 4x4 for brake lines. They will make whatever size you want in stainless braided.
