2004 Defender 110 Td5 CSW Zambezi Silver

TD5 interior light delay

Hi

Our 04 TD5 110 CSW has a pair of roof mounted what look like factory interieor lights. Everything woks fine open any door they come on tThe issue is they stay on around 30 secs then switch themselves off. Can you do anything to extend the off time ?

The interior light switch off delay is programmed into the 10AS alarm/ECL module, I don't believe there's any option to adjust the duration, only to turn it on/off.

You could always add a switched +ve to the circuit, it would mean switching the lights on and off manually but at least you would have control.

or

You could install a delay off timer relay like this (http://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/adjustable-d...v-10a.html) in to the lighting circuit. Doing this would allow you to select any time period you like from 1 sec to 6 hours.

The latter would allow your interior lighting to work almost as normal, just for longer...
