Hi, as this is most relevant if I put a 4.8w solar charger directly in the battery while still connected is it safe to to so?

Most state they prevent backwards charging.

My car sat for 6 weeks and was a little dead Smile

Thanks - I can't see her sitting there that long again so at least I have more before to keep the gadgets going and will make more effort to keep her in use!

Will report back of my method is enough or requires more.

Worst case I need to top her up and invest in more a rebust fix for my lack of use - shameful Chelsea tractor!
