Structural steel work for a shed
I've got permission to build a shed in my garden 10 x 15m it's a steel frame building, I've got all the designs and drawings which have passed building control. However I can't find anyone remotely interested in producing the steel work, I've been to 4 kit building companies and all they want to sell me is an off the shelf shed, but it needs to be made to the drawings I have. Other companies don't even respond and those that did quote obviously didn't want to do it!
I thought times where tough in manufacture? I'd have a go myself but there's the subject of CE markings...
Any suggestions? 07 Defender 90 TDCI

Phone round a few of the steel building erecting gangs, local farmers are the best to ask if none come up on Google in your area. I know of a gang by here that will do buildings of their own if they're not subbing out to one of the bigger compnies.

Rather than a shed building company, what about a local steel fab place? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yep. As above, a steel fabricator is what you need. You need a small company and these don't usually have web sites so the Internet probably is not going to help. If you know any small builders, they may point you in the right direction.

Good luck. One Life...Living it.

I'll PM you with a relatively local fabricator. You might also want to consider a high tensile steel frame, for a small structures like this, which will probably be more economical. I'll give you some contacts.

I construct steel framed agricultural buildings for a living, but most our usual contacts would be very expensive on a small building like this.
