That's excellent, I'm the sort that can't even draw a straight line. I take it he works from a photo and that the drawings are all 'one offs'? I'm sure some on here would be interested in getting work done by him - including myself if the price was right. Are there contact details for the lad?

How clever is this chap? Look at the video carefully.

Is he literally freehand drawing that Defender onto a completely blank sheet of paper? Or is a feint outline and key reference pre-marked onto the sheet?

One approach reveals genuine natural talent - the other approach is merely 'join the dots' and copy the shading on a photo.

There's always a difference between a real artist and a technician.

If you look really closely you can see the faint pencil out lines on the paper Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Either way - that image might look quite good applied directly to the rear wall of my garage. Has given me a few ideas to improve the look of bare brickwork.

Have a look at www.popbangcolour.com this guy draws cars using remote control cars as the brushes - I say him in action a a Land Rover event a few years back - just amazing and so fast, and if you search Popbangcolour Land Rover you can se some of his work! Well worth a look Cheers
