you must do a similar mileage to me. I worked out the file bills for my Defender and motorbike and came to a similar figure.
The worst thing is most of it is tax 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car) 2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r |

I used to own a van that I only ever put a tenner in as that's as far as I trusted it.

I used to work with a guy who carried a gallon can of diesel and never put fuel in by the filler. He was quite happy! 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I put in £70 a week if I don't use here on the weekend, if I do it works out at about £70 every 5 days.
When I was at uni though I only ever put in £40 when the fuel light came on which was just about half a tank but I was not doing anywhere near the mileage I am now. Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

When the light comes on I fill mine to the top but I only seem to fill up every three weeks now as I don't do much mileage at the moment. Ray
