England 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Santorini Black
CHT sensor Turned Off Air Conditioning.
CHT sensor Turned Off Air Conditioning! So on the north coast of Scotland I got a fuel starvation type occasional miss fire/power loss on my 2010 Puma. No fault codes were recorded. This was intermittent but occured when the engine was under load. Luckily balanced throttle on the motorways home was fine.
My local independent (Gwyn Lewis) replaced the leaky radiator (much to my surprise as my bad fuel diagnosis was miles out!!!). That sorted the intermittent power loss.
It seems that the Cylinder Head Sensor was protecting the engine by cutting the power.
Research on this site indicates that the CHS first turns off the Air Conditioning when it detects an overheating state, then turns the power down.
My question is - With no fault code to clear how do I turn the air con back on?
Any help greatly appreciated
