Hi,
Not been on here for a while since changing my defender to a discovery. In the last few weeks I've been sorting out all the tools and spare parts I had left over from owning my defender. So the first thing I've got for sale is a hydraulic drop arm puller for steering boxes. It fits all land rovers with a drop arm ( series, defenders, early discoverys snd early range rovers) as well as transit vans. It's brand new and never used as when it came to getting my drop arm off i didn't need to used it. As it is brand new, I'm wanting £150 + p&p (they retail well over £200, think I paid £250 many years ago) Click image to enlarge Pete. |

Its been pointed out to me that the current version of this from sykes pickavant is a bit different to mine, with the new one you take the steering box off the vehicle and then hit the newer version with a hammer to free it off. My version uses a hydraulic screw that pushes the arm off and can be used while the steering box is still on the vehicle.
It can also be used with pulling legs to create a hydraulic puller for other jobs. Pete. |
